Physiotherapists
Aislinn (Ash) Shattock has over 30 years’ experience as a physiotherapist. She has worked in world-renowned hospitals in the NHS and in private practice. She has a broad knowledge base and practical experience of orthopaedics, elderly care and neurology.
Ash’s main goal is to provide exceptional care and the best functional outcome possible for all her patients. She does this by ensuring that they understand their problems and how to manage them in the most effective way.
Ash has been awarded an Outstanding Contributions Award from the Association of Trauma Orthopaedic Chartered Physiotherapists, and is a member of the special interest group, AGILE, which specialises in the care of older people.
Alexine (Lexi) Santamaria has 20 years of physiotherapy experience working in London and Surrey hospitals, private practice and for the charity sector. Her primary areas of expertise and interests are neurology, elderly care, and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Alexine practises evidence-based rehabilitation incorporating physical activity and education into her treatment.
- The physical activity is the core to her practice, providing personalised assessment and treatment.
- The educative element allows patients to continue to implement the treatment they have received – be it on their own, or within their wider care structure.
She is a member of the specialist clinical group ACPIN which specialises in the needs of neurologically impaired adults and regularly attends lectures and conferences.
